History of Superstition Trailers
Superstition
Trailers was established in 1994 Mesa, Arizona,
as a vocational trailer dealership, specializing
in bottom dump, end dump and lowboy trailers.
The name “Superstition” was taken from the
Superstition Mountain range located east of the
Phoenix metro area.
The company
originally operated from a single location with
one salesman and a few mechanics. It experienced
rapid sales growth through the 1990’s and into
the new century.
To manage the
increase in business, an additional repair and
service center opened in west Phoenix in 1994.
In 2001 that location was closed when the
company moved to a larger, more modern facility
near downtown Phoenix.
In 2003 the
company extended its operation to Tucson,
opening two service and parts centers in the
southern Arizona city. It also expanded its
original Mesa location, opening a remodeled
parts retail center in 2004.
By 2006
Superstition Trailers had begun offering several
additional trailers lines including vans,
reefers, flatbeds, special forklift trailers,
walking floors, tank trailers and tilt bed
hydraulic trailers. To accommodate these lines,
in August 2006 the company renovated a 43,000
square foot shop on 16 acres in Phoenix,
creating a state-of-the-art service center.
Today,
Superstition Trailers has become the #1
distributor for several of the country’s leading
trailer manufacturers and has expanded to four
Arizona locations, employing a staff of over 125
people committed to offering superior service in
satisfying customers’ trailer needs.
